Volunteer for Krampusnacht
Join our troupe and assist us with everything that makes Krampus run!
Krampusnacht requires the coordination of event volunteers to ensure it runs smoothly. All of these positions are for non-costumed assistance, though we prefer you wear black, and you’re always welcome to wear some horns and join in the fun!
Setup Crew
Duties: Assist with unloading supplies, equipment, and decorations. Set up booths, signage, tables, barricades, and lighting. Work with the Logistics team to ensure everything is in place before opening. May involve some lifting and carrying.
Volunteers Needed: Flexible (multiple positions available).
Shift Time: Morning through early afternoon, exact times TBD.
Training: None required.
Teardown Crew
Duties: Help close down booths, stages, and activity areas. Pack up supplies, decorations, and equipment. Ensure streets and venues are cleared and clean after the event. May involve some lifting and carrying.
Volunteers Needed: Flexible (multiple positions available).
Shift Time: After 9:00 p.m. until completion.
Training: None required.
Krampus Wrangler
Duties: Work closely with the Firewatch Solutions security team to ensure the safety of the festival, with special emphasis on Krampus performers. Guide performers safely through crowds and parades, help manage audience interaction, and provide performer support (breaks, water, assistance).
Volunteers Needed: 10 positions.
Shift Time: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Training: Required – approx. 3-hour training session in November (date TBD).
Photo Booth Volunteers
Duties: Assist with managing the photo booth. Organize and guide lines of attendees, help with props and photo setup, ensure the space is safe and fun, and keep lines moving efficiently.
Volunteers Needed: 2 positions.
Shift Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (after the parade).
Training: None required.
General Support
Duties: Float between different areas to assist as needed. Provide directions and event information to attendees. Help with crowd flow, safety monitoring, and guest assistance. May step in to cover short breaks for other volunteers.
Volunteers Needed: Flexible (multiple positions available).
Shift Time: Various shifts available throughout the day.
Training: None required.
